Throughout my high school years, I have never stopped thinking about what the future holds for me after graduation. While my main interest is in being a radiologist, I have also considered other possibilities that I can build my future off of if radiology does not work out. It is the end of a chapter in my life, and the start of a new, exciting one. Making others feel better and helping others has always brought me joy and a sense of closure. Thinking back on it, I have always been fascinated with MRIs, EKGs, and x-ray machines and how they have the potential to help and save lives. Medical assisting has always been something I could fall back on if absolutely nothing works out. As a medical assistant, I have the potential to save lives. It is for these reasons that I believe I could make it as a medical assistant. In addition, my previous job shadowing experience has helped me obtain a peak at what being a medical assistant is like. To pursue this goal, I would attend college for an associate degree in medical assisting. While I have not found any universities yet that I have been interested in that offer a medical assisting degree, I hope to find one soon. With my interests and passion in helping others, I’m sure that if I end up doing medical assisting, I will do great things. Even though my main goal is to become a radiologist, I understand that it may not work out for me. If radiology does not work out for me, I also believe that forensic psychology or medical assisting could be good for me as
