Real Monster In the Society What is the definition of monster? In the past, monster is a fictional character that people created to reflect specific time and culture such as vampires, werewolves, zombies, aliens, etc. The society has changed their perspectives towards fictional characters that these monsters are just exist in films and stories. Furthermore , a lot of them developed their sympathy and conscience so they are not as intimidating as before. Therefore, they are no longer appeared as real monsters that people consider. Nowadays, real-life monsters are appeared as murderers, rapist, or even robbers. In my perspective, monsters are not just a fictional character or just bad people that cause troubles or mean to others. On the other hand, some argue that we blame their parents for every horrible thing that their kids do. From this perspective, they are saying that they are not blaming Dahmer for his brutal murder but they are targeting his family for what happened.
