I have completed two clinical placements one being at Peel Health campus while studying my certificate III in Health services assistant. While on this placement I was a nurse assistant buddied up with a patient care assistant. My duties included, complying with infection prevention and control policy and procedures, performing general cleaning tasks in a clinical setting, prepare and maintaining beds, assist with movement, client transportation, responding effectively with behaviours of concern and applying basic medical terminology.
