Instant reflux is a condition where in food goes back up the stomach that can make your baby spit up his food. Also referred to as gastroesophageal reflux or GER, this condition doesn't really worsen as your baby grows older. It is considered unusual when your baby still has it after 18 months which means that you will need to consult a pediatrician regarding this issue. Keep in mind that instant reflux can happen multiple times even with a healthy baby. It's not really a cause for worry in babies but there are some symptoms that, when they appear, should be consulted immediately.

Breastfeed – As much as possible, breastfeed your baby. Not only is your milk hypoallergenic but it can also be digested faster compared to milk formulas.
