Since she was the charge nurse for the day, she guided her team throughout the day by providing her team with assistance throughout their busy day and coordinating their assignments. Throughout the clinical day, I have seen the Registered Nurse utilize many time management skills to keep up throughout the busy day. One way I noticed her do this was by completing multiple cares each time she went into different rooms. She would do this by completing things like medication administration, wound care, putting on compression wraps, getting the patient up for the day, and getting their breakfast set up before moving on to another patient.
