Why would such a noble man run from his own country? It is assumed that he was struck by fear, due to rumors of the revolutionaries wanting to capture him. With France’s political system being burned down before it’s people's eyes, what will we do to get him back?

Including the Queen's advisor, Marie Therese. Being the Queen’s trusted friend, revolutionaries imprisoned Therese until she was given a quick and unfair trial. She was sentenced to death, but not by the quick and ‘humane’ guillotine. Marie was beaten, raped, and maimed before she met her maker. Just for associating with the Queen. Therese’s head was cut off and stuck in front of the Queen’s window, but unfortunately she never got to see it.

What role did you play in the September Massacre? I was imprisoned in the La Sante Prison for defying the Monarchy, and one night, or well September 2nd, three armed men came into my cell. They beat me over the head. Assuming I was dead they left me to bleed out. but I waited until they were gone and got to a safe place.

What did you see? Dead bodies, they were everywhere. On the streets, in the cells. Revolutions don't discriminate, they killed guards, prisoners, and most likely would have killed me if i didn't run. It was terrifying. It was all out chaos, other small riots has been provoked and it was
