With that said, it’s clearly getting harder and harder to defend him or his movies – you know, since each new attempt seems to be worse than the last. After a while, you’d think he couldn’t get any lower than films like The Cobbler, Pixels, and Blended – here comes an Adam Sandler western.

At the same time, it’s hard to throw too much of a fuss about this viewing experience – seeing as how the movie is titled The Ridiculous Six. So – to be frank, if you see the title of the film and willingly convince yourself that it’s worth a try, you aren’t allowed to complain about it, whatsoever. You can’t criticize the poor attempts at humor, unbearable acting, lackluster plot progression, or even that scene that depicts the creation of baseball (assuming you make it that far into the movie). The movie is called The Ridiculous Six for crying out loud! What else could it possibly be but painfully terrible? In the end, though – there is a case to be made that it’s worth viewing. Adam Sandler has a die-hard following – otherwise he wouldn’t be as successful as he is. So – as a Sandler fan, myself, I’d be lying if I said I didn’t laugh or find a smidgen of enjoy viewing this film. It’s horrible. I know that. Everyone else knows it, too. But, it’s horrible because it wants to be – and you know what, I’m okay with that.
