In 1994 Rwanda Genocide happened against the Hutu and the Tutsi because the Tutsi were the poorest and considered as “cockroaches”. And the Hutu thought less of than but after the President Juvénal Habyarimana killed by a Tutsi Rebel Army this what caused the Interahamwe group to start killing Tutsi people. When this started everyone went crazy Interahamwe started attacking Tutsi people killing innocent children and parent. Separating families killing them in front of their face and torching the Tutsi. People didn’t know about Rwanda Genocide because Rwanda is a poor country, no political alleles, and they weren’t concern with their problems. We can change our lack of caring and communication so we can become more aware of potential situations around the world. Yes there will be some negative effects but its United States is at least trying to come out their way to …show more content…
Putting information about a current civil war in a small or poor country around social media would make people notice and try to come to together to fix this situation . But, just sitting around and blocking out the news will not help out any of these poor country. During, the Genocide the Tutsi people needed America’s help and just because of race United States couldn’t do it leaving the Tutsi people in Rwanda to die. In Hotel Rwanda the foreign countries army came to get only the white people and the news people from Rwanda. Leaving the Tutsi people there to die and they didn’t even try to go find someone else to try to help the Tutsi. This is why we need to make aware of tragic situations like this because what United States could of do was sending US Forces to take the Tutsi people to a safe refuge and putting this information on social media to help the
