is important. From being a tutor, I know students struggle the most on math and science. However, I believe if teachers would teach everything detail by detail and give students examples so they can apply math and science to real life, students would love S.T.E.M. Consequently, not a teachers love to teach, but anybody can understand anything if they'd paid attention and applied themselves. Perhaps students don't pursue S.T.E.M. majors because it takes too long, and they're constantly getting pressured to quit school and get a job (because they need money more than education). Maybe students do not get in to S.T.E.M. because of peer pressure or the fear of being too successful. It would be best to consider what is best for their lives instead of taking advice from people who didn't want to be successful because "it's too hard". Well if a S.T.E.M. degree was easy, everybody would have one and it would diminish its value. Also, employers know S.T.E.M. mayors are hard to get, so they admire applicants with S.T.E.M. degrees because they it shows commitment, strong creativity skills, and strong problem solving skills. Especially companies that are always trying to innovate, they love S.T.E.M. majors for their creative new ideas.
