Education is a word of Latin Educatum-mean to educate. Some say Education is taken from Latin word EDUCARE'- means to raise.
Education is a process in which and by which the knowledge-, character and behaviour of the young people arc shaped and moulded. Education must enable mankind through its cultural activities to enter more and more fully into the spiritual realm and also to enlarge the boundaries of human values. It is the culture which each generation purposely gives to those who are to be its successors.
Education or teaching should be in mother- tongue. It makes the student to understand the subject well. Today most of the public/private schools keep the foreign language-English as the medium of teaching or education and with the growing demand of English these schools are flooded by the opportunist. It means that the students are unable to grasp the basic meaning of the subject and the gap between teacher and taught always widens. Even three language formula does not assist in this regard. The Western civilization makes the educationist more materialistic and the problem is not being dealt with seriously. However, a coordination and compromise among the language is desirable.
The relation in between educational institutions and other institutions widens the scope of knowledge. In a democratic type set up of a society needs a balance. All the institutions and all the organisations arc the source of knowledge and inspiration
