When I entered 6th grade, I heard right away about all of the school sports. I knew right away I wanted to play school soccer. All year I just thought about how fun it would be, and I counted down the days until tryouts. The wait was worth it, because it was was one of the best parts of middle school. Playing School Soccer is very enjoyable because you meet new friends, become better at soccer and train with different people, and the excitement in the games and tournaments is unforgettable. One of the main reasons why I loved school soccer so much was because I met so many new friends that shared the same interests with. You are able to travel to other schools, and even though you play against them, you can still make some new friends from other schools. Also, during the season, the captains and coaches set up this game called big sister little sister. This game is where you find a partner on the team, older or younger, and you become their big sister/little sister for the whole season. Every away game you bring your big sister/little sister candy or a gift. It is a school soccer tradition and it is set up every year and it helps you socialize with people in different grades. The whole experience is unforgettable. One great thing about school, which the teachers probably don't like that much, it that you are able to leave school early to travel to other schools to play games. The soccer games are so much fun, because there is not a lot of pressure on you to do good, you can just have fun and not be afraid to make mistakes.
