When I first started my project, I did not know what my approach was going to be or if it would be adequate. With hard work, dedication, and sleepless nights, I accomplished a lot. I got others involved in my project, interviewed leaders and developed my marketing skills. Most importantly, I made a change in communities where help was desperately needed. I interviewed the Head of UNICEF’s WASH, and a prospective civil engineer that did fieldwork in Guatemala regarding water issues. This required a lot of work because I not only had to do research on my topic but on these professionals as well, I had to be prepared. Also, I got the Chief Executive Officer of my school as well as a previous employee of the Monterey Bay Aquarium interested in my project that they became my advisors. It wasn’t always easy to talk to these people because I would often get nervous especially because I set high standards so I was always expected to do more, even beyond my work and
