The program is funded by student fees and it has a full-time staff for both administrative and planning responsibilities. APPLES provides a variety of programs that aspire to combine educational goals with relevant community service, APPLES programs enhance learning and provide meaningful service to communities. APPLES internships are distinctive, powerful experiences in service for either the spring or summer semester. Students intern at a diverse assortment of nonprofit and governmental agencies; they also receive funding and are enrolled in a service-learning course.
