While reading Lycurgus by: Plutarch, a main idea that could not go unnoticed was the idea of power. Like Creon in Antigone, Lycurgus had a ways of leading people. Even though the two men were very powerful, Creon used his power for tyranny, while Lycurgus gave his power to the Senate of Sparta (Plutarch).
