Nearly 50 million turkeys are slaughtered each year for Thanksgiving. You should not eat me on Thanksgiving because slaughter is inhumane and you have a risk of dying.
The first reason why you should not eat me is because slaughter is inhumane. Slaughtering me in the United States is especially cruel. Typically birds are sliced by a blade and then put into a room of a hot boiled pot of water where they are defeathered. But we miss the blade and just tossed in the room. We are basically boiled alive. Slaughtering me on Thanksgiving is inhumane and cruel.
A final reason why you should not eat me is because we have a risk of dying. When you put antibiotics in me to stimulate my growth and then eat me you are taking a risk of dying. Although,
