From my title "If Africa is so rich, why is it so poor" you can all deduce that my project will widely speak about Africa, its poverty, its wealth and resources. But the purpose of my project is not to describe the geography and the economy of the continent. The purpose of my project is to select 3 countries, Nigeria, South Africa and the Democratic Republic of Congo, as samples to show that all the events that took place during the black slavery, where white Europeans and Americans enslaved Africans, determined the Africa of today.

But still doesn’t explain why did Europeans and Americans chose to enslave Africans while Americans, for example, could enslave Native Americans. The main absurdity reason that historians, politicians, and social scientist could give was that black people were seen as easy targets to take advantage of. Most of the African countries were colonized by the British such as Nigeria and South Africa, and the French such as the Democratic Republic of Congo. This also identified by the huge influence that characterized the language and culture of these countries. In addition to their many different dialects in each tribe, the first language spoken in Nigeria and South Africa is English also spoken in Britain, and French spoken in Congo as it is spoken in France.
Black slavery was a way of forbidding blacks their rights. This enable the Europeans to sell black men, but above all, black women and children. They were a financial beneficial to white Europeans and Americans. They were sorts of products which they were exposed to show the buyer's their quality in order to be sold at the best price.
