Legacy Hospice On January 15th, I experienced one of the greatest fairs that I have ever been to. It was amazing seeing so many different tables of different companies that do great things and help others. I love seeing great things like that and people making differences in other people’s lives. I enjoy volunteering my free time making those changes as well. Knowing that you made a difference in someone’s life is one of the best feelings ever. The companies at the fair do that and they all have their own ways to do so. Some are for the people that need it, and others are for the people that want it. They can make differences in people’s life or they can encourage people to change their lives on their own, either way I love that there are organizations that lift people up when they are falling down. I stopped and talked to many different companies including legacy hospice (hospice patients), the army services, (our country) the boys and girls club (helps kids in need) and a couple sororities. The one that I was super interested in and the one that I talked to and got a lot of information from was legacy hospice. It is a company that works for hospice patients (mostly the elderly) and they try and make the last days of them living the best days for their patients. They do what they can to make and keep them happy for as long as they live. I fell in love with this company, they do great things and I would love to be a part of it as well. I am definitely considering getting involved and volunteering my spare time to change lives. When I was a senior in high school, I was involved in many things. I was a cheerleader, volleyball player and I had a part time job. While being a part of all those teams, I also was on a team in which we would volunteer 4 hours a week so our assigned hospice patient. Our task was to make their last days living their best days living and also to make one of their wishes come true. I loved doing that, it changed my life just as much as we changed theirs. It is a great thing to do and one of my most favorite hobbies. I was very excited when I found out that we had to volunteer for 15 hours this semester as a grade because I know it will be super easy for me. I learned that there are so many different ways to make a difference in people lives who need it most. I learned that you don’t need to have everything nor do you
