Saturday 09/16/2017 Betty Mauldin Park at Norcross, GA hosted a jazz concert referred to as Jazz in the Alley. Since the concert was in the park, the audience brought their chair, meals, and drink. Jazz in the Alley is a free annual concert series backed by way of the Norcross Downtown development Authority. The series goals to show off various Atlanta-based jazz fusionists with many genre backgrounds. The jazz concert was carried out by using Son Jazzy Orchestra. Nelson Ramos is the band leader. In the metro Atlanta, Son Jazzy Orchestra is the most suitable Salsa, Merengue, and Latin Jazz Orchestra. They play actual Afro-Cuban Caribbean rhythms. Their repertoire is unique and authentic. Nelson offers his Organ trio, wherein he performs an eclectic mix, of Blues and Soul Jazz, Swing with a mixture of Latin swing that he has been able to envelop into his playing. The band gives live Latin track for clubs, weddings, company events, and personal events. The instruments that they used was a saxophone, flute, trumpet, trombone, harmonica, keyboard, bass, and congas timbales. The clave rhythm was 2-3 and 3-2. Most of their songs had the traditional jazz music structure. I used to be additionally able to note some playing style alternatives, and it became charming to listen to those things in an actual performance. Moreover, I observed pretty a bit of eye contact and verbal exchange among the players, mainly when they were switching among solos.
