Nursing philosophy is the set of statements that reminds our thoughts in which we believe and provide us with values regarding the nursing activities (Alligood, 2014). This particular report includes the discussion on the similarities and differences among different health care organization by their nursing philosophy. NURSING PHILOSOPHIES AND ORGANIZATIONAL BACKGROUND Organizational missions and their nursing philosophies are among the pivotal element of any successful organization. There are various types of nursing philosophies based on idealism, realism, humanism, naturalism and much more. Southern Regional Medical Centre follows Abdullah's conceptual model of nursing and put stress on realism philosophy, on the other hand, UC San Diego Health put more emphasize on humanism philosophy of nursing. Both health care systems focus on evidence based learning which includes researching care, procedure, and treatment before applying to the patients. By doing so results in a better patient outcome. Addition of recent advancement in the care provided to patients results in safe and cost effective nursing procedure (Bluhm, 2014). On this state, both organizations share same value in providing excellent health care services to the patients. Along with this similarity, they share one more value that is team work and leadership quality. Team work is necessary for every organization to make their establishment successful.
