A “Standardized test” is a test that is administered and scored in a consistent, or "standard", manner. School system uses standardized test to see the students growth and how they are learning. But standardized testing doesn’t accurately represent the status and level of a student’s education and growth. Standardized tests can affect kids mentally, affect their growth, and standardized tests could be wrong and not actually measure the student learning and growth. Although, people may think that standardized tests are good, but they don’t see how it can affect students. The “Standardized test” negatively affects the student mentally and makes them feel unknowledgeable. Even when the student gets a low standardized test, it can also affect their education and growth too. When the feel down, it can affect their future and veer of what their dreams are. Also in the article Standardized Tests.procon it says, “Standardized test scores are easily influenced by outside factors: stress, hunger, tiredness, and prior teacher or parent comments about the difficulty of the test, among other factors.” Stating that kids can go into a depressing state with a standardized test. Even parents know what is happening in this situation and they are complaining about this because they don’t want their kids to be down on themselves. Sometimes instead of kids being down on themselves, they start having wanton behavior. Therefore, standardized tests can impact students' mental health and education.
