Stanford Prison Experiment is a film that actually based on a true story. This unusual experiment was happened on August 14 1971 by Philip Zimbardo. The experiment was using some normal college students as volunteer and got paid $15 perday. They would become the prisoner or prison guard. From the begining of the experiment started, the people who were being the prisoner was treated as a true prisoner, dragged out from their house until got stripped. The environmet made up as in a real prison, all the cells and also an empty dark room called ‘Hole’ as the place to punish someone. The prisoners weren’t called as their names, but by numbers that they got on their clothes. The guards weren’t allowed to use a physical torture.

But once they aware that they have to make a movement, some of them tried to make an alliance to get the way out. When there were some rebels, there were some obedient prisoners that just follow the guard’s instructor which made the instructor irritated and punish him more (?). All the push-ups, jumping jacks and so on were a little bit too much, especially when the prisoners had to pee or poop only in one bucket, that’s disgusting actually, even in the real prison, they got a toilet. The experiment was not run that well so it had to be stopped on the 6th day because Dr. Zimbardo finally realized that it was too much, even his team was signed out only in a few days of the experiment.
His girlfriend was involved in that experiment in the middle and saw that it was really untolerance. Seeing how the prisoner got blamed like in the court, being judged with someone that had an experience in a prison. Talking nonsense about all the crime that the prison actually never did. Even so, all the prison should have a lawyer besides them, but Dr. Zimbardo never think about it. And I’m confused, why did he affraid that the priest would tell the police about that experiment?
