The message of stwardship from the bible is a verse from John 6:12. ‘And when they had eaten their fill, he told his disciples, “Gather up the leftover fragments, that nothing may be lost.” ‘ Jesus had told his desciples not to leave any scraps lying so that the land would’nt be polluted/affected by the litter.

The principle of stewardship is the acknoledgement of the land and that we are not owners, but we are careakers of this land. As stewards of this land, we have a great responsibility on taking care of the land. We need to ask ourselves ‘How much is enough for me?, How much is enough for charity, etc.’
