Sex trafficking in the United States is more commonly located in large cities and in hotel rooms. Under those circumstances, research has shown that society is able to prevent sex trafficking in cities near them. ECPAT has started a program that informs hotel employees of how to recognize sex trafficking near them because frequently hotel employees do not say anything or understand the situation when occurring (Guelbart). Because of this program, many victims will be able to acquire help and a safe haven. In the same way hotel workers can stop sex trafficking near them, citizens can help prevent sex trafficking in their cities and communities. If citizens become aware of their surroundings as well as inform the general public of the matter, fighting to end sex trafficking could be obtainable. In court, judges would need to examine the scenario more thoroughly to ensure the verdict is correct. In any event, survivors of sex trafficking deserve a better opportunity to justify their case and have their
