Many people choose the violin over the string bass. I think it is a great experience to play music and even the bass. Something I want to fulfill is to play the string bass better because I want to play for concerts/music trips, to succeed in music, and I would even like teaching the string bass. I want to play for concerts/music trips. Music trips can allow me to play for people who can’t go to concerts and people who are not in the area. If we would go on music trips, we would most likely go to Busch Gardens and our concerts we would perform at school and other places with a stage. Concerts are terrific because I think my parents would feel proud of me and I can feel like I accomplished something amazing that I have worked on for so long to prepare! I like to play the music that we have, because they have a lot of parts where the basses get a part! Succeeding in music would make me better of what I am right now. I want to push myself to my best ability so I have a chance of being the best bass player I can be! I would teach “Vibrato” and teach all the string names (E, A, D, and G), the bowing, and all of the “Major Scales”. If I consider teaching orchestra, I would also teach the other string instruments, the Violin, Viola, and the Cello. I would teach people how the bowing works and where the notes on and where the fingers go. Before I would teach the Bass, I would have my students be on either cello (Fun Fact: Celli is plural for cello), viola, or violin to start them off them work my way up to the bass. A little fact that I have learned is that the strings on the violin is backwards from the double bass. Teaching orchestra is probably something I want to do because it’s my favorite elective
