Sugar Cookie When you walk into a house that has just made fresh sugar cookies, you definitely know it. The smell is like children, rushing at you before enveloping you. The smell then tugs at you relentlessly, dragging you towards the origin of that amazing scent touching your nostrils.
That’s when you finally catch a glimpse at the source of the heavenly scent. A little golden disc. It was darker at the edge of the cookie, but lighter as you got closer to the center. The center wasn’t a harvest gold like the outer edge, no the center was the color of honey butter, a more gentle yellow than the harsh gold. You reach down and grab one of the cookies, it’s warmth spreads to your fingers and up your arm, before enveloping your whole body.

You bite down on the cookie, wanting to feel the vibrancy around you. The cookie melts in your mouth, causing the vibrant feeling to spread into your body. You moan at the feeling. You continue to eat the cookie, before it disappears. Then you grab another cookie, you cherish that one as well, but it is gone sooner than the last. You move on to another cookie…. then another, and another, until you start to lose the feeling the original cookie brought you, but maybe one more will bring back the heavenly feeling of the first cookie. “Humph” says Jackie as she moves the bag back into her older brothers reach. Jimmy’s smug smirk makes Jackie want to hit him, so she does. He had turned his head back to face the television, when her hand that was holding the bag of chips, flies up and connects with his face. That starts the all out war. Jackie and Jimmy start to wrestle, Jimmy is stronger, but Jackie is faster. Jackie kicks and smacks him, while Jimmy does the same to her. The roll off the couch and onto the floor, where they continue their wrestling match. The match comes to a close when Jimmy’s head connects with the edge of the coffee table. His body goes limp, falling on Jackie.
