From the beginning colonel Shaw trained black regiment to fight relentlessly in the war. Commander officer Shaw’s strict and serious move towards training the regiment highlights the importance of endurance and alertness that made the appearance of the movie to be master/slave relationship with discipline that is essential and expected in a war.
