The justice system does not always work out correctly. That is how it is in the case of Adnan Syed reported by Sarah Koenig in the podcast “Serial”. In this report, Adnan was convicted of his ex-girlfriend, Hae Min Lee’s, murder; he is innocent due to the lack of evidence from the prosecution and courtside slip ups. Adnan was never tied to the crime by physical evidence, thus never proving his guilt. You could argue that the fact that there is no evidence and it matches Jay’s story could mean that jay is telling the truth, but it more possibly means the opposite.
