There are different fields of surgery like orthopedic surgery (the treatment of the musculoskeletal system), neurological surgery (treatment of the brain and nervous system), cardiovascular surgery, and plastic or reconstructive surgery.

the qualifications and education needed for the job - university education in either biology, biochemistry, or human physiology. After finishing one of the degrees, you will have to join a surgical residency program for several years. But generally, a surgeon starts off their day early in the morning and heads right to the hospital or the place they work at. After the surgery, they will meet with the patient again to discuss questions, concerns and care. In between some of the surgeries, they sometimes eat a snack or do paper work.
