At publix there are three types of hard-pressed customers that come to the store; tourists, locals, and employees. Destin is a popular vacation spot with its shopping areas and beaches, which attracts people from around the country. These people are called tourists because they visit and tour around the city. The tourists that usually come to publix have one or two carts full of groceries, which are for their condos or hotel rooms they rented. Tourists usually come in on Saturday and stay in destin for a week. Locals are people who lived in destin for many years, most of them are middle aged or elderly. They usually come to the store during the week and get some groceries but not cart fulls. Some locals rent condos to tourists
