On January 15, 1978 two young girls was brutally murdered using a wooden club which the killer took with him. Investigators immediately suspected Ted Bundy. Other items that was collected for evidence was sperm samples, print smudges and blood, however all proved inconclusive during testing. Souviron was tasked to take several photographs of Ted Bundy's front upper and lower teeth and gums. During this examination an uneven pattern was recorded. As stated earlier, the tissue from Lisa Levy's buttock couldn’t be used because it had been destroyed in all the analyses; however the photograph with the ruler still remained in perfect condition. Dr. Souviron described the bite mark on Lisa Levy’s buttock during trial as the jury examined the photographs. The uniqueness of the indentation impression marks were outlined and showed how it matched the dental impressions of Ted Bundy's teeth. Dr. Souviron outlined the structure of the unique alignment, the size of the teeth, the chips, and the sharpness factors of the bicuspids, lateral, and incisor teeth. A comparisons of both Bundy’s teeth structure and the photograph of the bite-mark were placed on a board as an enlarged photo and laid over each other using a transparent sheet. Dr. Souviron explained further in the case that there was a double bite involved: “The attacker had bit once, then turned sideways and bit again.
