Immediately after his claim, which is in the first paragraph, Trubey presents a question creating the readers’ to think upon this topic. This allows the reader to see the screen outside of the TV. He says how beautiful the world is and then encourages the reader to “get off you butt and do it(see the world)”(pgh. 10).This is encouraging to the reader to take action and encourages his claim by showing that it must occur.
Finally to finish his argument, Trubey gives a list of facts that are about television viewing and then provides a list about resources on television viewing. This is a great way to end because it gives the reader 5 extra areas to seek help on TV viewing. It also shows how many people are watching and tells facts about what they are watching which influence his other points.
Overall, Trubey presents a welcoming argument with reasons on how to get outside of the television box. Throughout his argument he uses an encouraging tone to get the reader to take action to his argument. He provides a wide range of facts even addressing the Constitution, all to support his argument and also provides areas to seek for help and more information.
