There are various definitions of PRIDE. The Webster dictionary has at least six definitions, such as the quality or state of being proud described as an inordinate self-esteem or delight or elation arising from some act, possession or relationship and described as parental pride. Another definition of pride is a feeling or deep pleasure of satisfaction derived from one’s own achievements, an accomplishment, or in someone else or something else. However, pride is also described as conceit, egotism, vanity vainglory, in relation to one’s own appearance or status in life and not just the accomplishments.
