The book talks about the different impacts on society immigration has made, the history of immigration, and the challenges immigrants faced in the past as well as what they face today. Cox writes about how Americans are starting to have mixed feelings about immigration as it has risen to historic proportions.It also discusses jobs, education, crime, social services, and the immigration laws.
