The Comanche were one of the most renowned Native American tribes that managed to amass wealth and power in the 18th and 19th centuries. There is a wealth of theories and explanations to this power acquisition but a deeper look into their approach of warfare sheds light to the critical issues. While there are many different explanations to their power accumulation, three aspects stand out which explain why the Comanche were able to rebel settlers and gain so much power.
