Religion has been a prominent figure throughout history for centuries. However, religion also has been the root of distrust, paranoia, death, and destruction as proven by the Salem Witch trials. Although intended to benefit the community and bring people together, corruption and distrust are present and often are the reason communities are torn apart due to religion.
