Adventure to Discoveries Did you ever wonder why an situation had an outcome that was good or bad well I’m going to tell you in the book Anthem. The Dystopian society in Anthem is a collectivist.
Equality uniqueness and curiosity has lead him to man discoveries. Equality’s actions has gotten him into bad situations but also discovered the unmentionable times. Now I’m going to inform you why some specific events occurred and why the outcome had to be. Equality’s curiosity has been a problem but leads him to discoveries and knowledge. Equality walks down the street and finds a underground tunnel and kept it secret from the others in his group. “We have solved secrets of which the scholars have no knowledge” (Rand 36). When equality discovered the tunnel he was curious so he kept it a secret and got knowledge and many innovations. Equality discovered a house and it had many history in it from the dark ages. “It was when I read the first of the books I found in my house that I saw the word I”(Rand 98). Equality’s curiosity from the dark ages grows so he decides to read the books. Equality finally found what the true meaning of individuality. All of this concludes that equality’s actions effected him in a good and bad way. In the book Anthem Equality grows to be his own person and discovers many things the government has been hiding from the people so they don’t know the truth of the real world. Overall the punishment and the hard nights Equality had to sleep through he was finally free. Equality uniqueness has caused all the good events to occur and even his curiosity helped him discover many historical stuff in the dark ages from what the government refers it as. If Equality or known as Prometheus saves the society there will be no more dark
