Gazing into the night sky has become much easier due to the Hubble Telescope. In 1990, the Hubble Space Telescope, named after the astronomer Edwin Hubble, was launched into orbit around the Earth. This telescope was 43.5ft long, and weighed about 24,500 lbs. The hubble space Telescope has done many great things including, making millions of observations,collecting data for thousands of scientific data, along with many other things you will learn about in this article.
