Martin Luther king jr. was not only interested in getting rights for everyone. He believed in equality for all. that meant that he believed that everyone should have the same chances to be happy and successful. No matter their race or economical status they had the same rights to fight for the dreams and goals. His only priority was not only getting blacks out of poverty , but all minorities and anyone that was willing to do what was needed to succeed.

Society views at poverty as a problem people have just because they are ok with it. It also thinks only a few live in poverty. In reality people have no other choice but to live one what they can get. every single person got its story, no one's life is perfect, but to many people there problems don't let them escape the whole they are in poverty. There is thousands of people living in poverty and newborn babies coming to this world with limited hopes of becoming successful. Something that Martin Luther King Jr. encouraged was programs that helped the poor people. Today there is many and help the have nots to came out to this world and to have the same opportunity to these who were born in a wealthy environment. Poverty can not always be defeated alone.

They grow up with many desires and wishes they would never obtain. Growing up in a old and violent neighborhood, where gangs control the streets. Thinking that the only solution to their problems is violence. There role models being adults making so called money selling drugs or committing crimes. That's not the best environment for a kid to be raised, but there is no other choice there neighborhood is most likely poor family can afford. the only hope is for kids to stay away from gangs and as hard as possible to get out of those
