Michael Jackson, AKA The King of Pop was born on August 29th, 1958. He was a recording artist, entertainer, and businessman. He also was interested in music, dance,& fashion. Michael began his career in a music group called the Jackson 5 with his brothers, but in 1971 he went solo. While performing on stage, Michael populated a number of dance techniques. Some of these dances are known as the moonwalk and the robot. His musical sound and vocal style also influenced hip hop artist,rock artist, and more. Michaels best selling album was Thriller. He was put into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice. He was also inducted into the Dance Hall of Fame as the first dancer from the world of pop and rock and roll. Michael won hundreds of awards. This made him the most awarded recording artist in the history of popular music. He was also one of the world's most prominent humanitarians and philanthropists . Through Michaels Heal The World Foundation, he shared , or donated, 300 million dollars in charity. After that he held the Guinness World Record for supporting the most charities out of any pop star. Michael was the type that would care for others before he cared for himself. He was a nice, genuine person. Michael went through changing his apperance, lowkey relationships, and behavior. Micheal was also accused of child melestation. The case was settled outside of court and no charges were brought. He was found not guilty on all counts. He was wrongfully accused. Michael didn’t have a good relationship with his daddy, Joe Jackson. Joe let it be known, in 2003, that he regularly whipped Michael as a boy. Michael said that he was physically & emotionally abused by his dad. The first time his spoke publicly about it was on the Oprah Winfrey show. The things that were said was he would cry from being lonely and would vomit, or throw up when he sees his father. Michael father also verbally abused him and mad him feel bad about his apperance. He mad Michael feel so bad that he had chronic sleep problems, & remained child-like in his adult life. In January 1984, Michael and some members of the Jackson family filmed a Pepsi Cola commercial. In a house full of his fans, pyrotechnics accidentally set Jackson's hair on fire. He suffered with second-degree burns to his scalp. Jackson never recovered but he went through a
