The Naval Academy is a world renowned institution, a name that resonates globally. Not a conventional university or college, it engraves many characteristics that its true meaning of courage, honor, and commitment. Attending in a world-renowned institution would not just provide me with a traditional diploma, but would prepare me with knowledge for a military career I want to envelop myself in. My ambition is not just the ring, the free education, but to serve my nation and its cause. As a young boy, I always dreamt of wearing the distinct white plebe uniform and attending Annapolis. If I could learn to become the best marine or sailor, I would rather learn from the heart and mind of the Navy. I answer the call when someone is in need. Senior year with all hands on deck, my standard put to the test. The student body desperately needed a person to run and maintain the student store. Without the store’s revenue the student body’s financial demands would not be met. School activities would be slowly dwindle.
