Isonomy Sir Edmund Burke said, “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” There has to be an even amount of cowardice and courage to maintain a balance otherwise the world wouldn’t mature. Which ties honesty and conformity together to relate to either cowardice or courage. Honesty can be interpreted as a courageous trait and conformity as a cowardice trait. When you voice an opinion, stand up to your standards, and morality is when honesty could be a courageous trait. But alson it can have a negative connotation to it. When voicing an opinion is a perfect ezample from the story “On the Rainy River” by Tim O’Brien talks about how foolish it is to go to war and that he does not want to participate. People can this as a cowardly thing to say because he won’t protect his own country. But Tim O’Brien ends up going but with a different purpose which is conformity that is interpreted in a negative way. Others may see it as courageous and gratefulness while Tim O’Brien has a different opinion towards it. Honesty is a courageous trait for being your ture self. The positive is that everyone knows that they can trust themselves to you. To be heard and being able to relate is a comforting idea. For example, people may be thinking on a exact idea but does not want to share due to risks of humiliation. There is always that one person from the crowd who voices the people in order to be heard.
