The Road Monologue

I can't believe I'm doing this. Can't really believe I'm driving back to Arkaley. It's weird to me, since I haven't been home in almost eleven years, and I can still remember the way back perfectly. The road was filled with fog after about 20 miles of sun, but that's Ohio I suppose. At least I'll see mom, I hope.

My mother always worried me, living alone in Arkaley, Ohio. I'm not saying Arkaley is particularly a bad town (though it suffers from small town madness, to be fair). I don't really remember my dad, so I was pretty much raised by two people: my mother and Jack Daniels.

Driving back to Arkaley brought back memories, but to be honest, I don't have really strong memories of the place. I remember school, but none of my peers or teachers.
