Imagine, you get sick and the sickness goes all the way throughout your body. You can’t do anything for the rest of your life. You’re stuck, doing nothing. What would you do? Would you want to live the miserable life? In Of Mice and Men. Steinbeck writes about how two men that are friends travel together to a ranch at. There are some difficulties that lead to bad things. The book shows that you would do anything for the people you love even if it means killing them. George is Lennie’s caretaker, ever since Lennie’s Aunt Clara died, George would feel responsible for what what happened to Lennie if he did not do it himself. Ever since Lennie was a child, he wasn’t the brightest crayon in the box, meaning he wasn’t all that smart and couldn’t thing that other kids could. In the book Steinbeck writes “ You...an’ me. If the person is in a miserable state and they wanted to die then euthanasia would be the answer for what they could use. In the articles it show how the patients and people felt and why they wanted to die. People are so miserable with how their lives are, they choose to use euthanasia. In the article ‘Belgian twins legally Euthanized states’ “ upon the diagnosis they decided that their lives were not worth living anymore, and they were legally Euthanized on Dec. 14.” The twins felt as if they didn’t want to go on with their suffering because of their state in health. Another quote for the ‘Belgian twins legally Euthanized’ “ the ruling party proposed a new amendment that would allow the Euthanasia of minors or patients with condition like alzheimer's or Dementia, provided that they are deemed capable of discerning the levity of their situation.” This proves that people have a choice whether or not they want it or not. It’s an important decision because that's how the patient feels and it’s what they
