Esther is the seventh book in the Old Testament and is a book of History. Its theme is God's sovereign care and a queen’s bold destiny. Esther was a Jewish woman who wanted to save her people from destruction. She was married to King Ahasuerus and she became queen of Persia in 478 B.C. Esther was a beautiful, humble and courageous woman. She was not spoiled by her rise of being queen and she didn't forget where she came from or how she was raised. As queen, Esther was faced with a difficult challenge, but she didn't let that task break her down. She carried out her act with courage, some of which most people are afraid to do. God protected and rescued the Jewish people from complete destruction through Esther's courage. She brought them security
