In the story, "The Watsons go to Birmingham" by Christopher Paul Curtis, Kenny and Bryon are brothers and at their school, Bryon is considered a god, meanwhile, Kenny is just your average kid. Although Byron is a god, Kenny DOES treat people better than Bryon.

First and foremost, I know that Kenny treats people better is when Rufus and Kenny had an argument, Kenny felt bad about it and tried to make it up to him, but if it was Bryon who was in an argument with someone, (perhaps buphead), he wouldn’t have cared and wouldn’t have tried to make up for it. Byron would have just continued like nothing happened. Yet, this is only one reason how Kenny treats other people better than Byron does.
