Life as we know it is based on evolution. Evolution has been taking place for hundreds of thousands of years. Evolution has altered organisms throughout all these years and is helping organisms to evolve. Evolution is the beginning and future of all species and effects our planet on a daily basis. Without evolution, our world would be complete and utter chaos. If there was no adaptation, variation, mutation, extinction, and of course evolution then everything would be different.

There is a lot of proof of evolution provided by Charles Darwin. Darwin identified a theory on the Galapagos Islands where he observed that some organisms have same species relationships and eat from some of the same food sources. Darwin noticed that all organisms

The death of an organism will cause fossils to be created. Fossils are the remains or imprint of a plant or animal molded into rock and preserved underground. Fossils provide information about mutations. Mutations are alterations in an organism's internal or external appearance. Some mutations destroy the possibility of extinction. Extinction is the end of an organism's existence. All of the information provided by fossils and mutations give answers about evolution and the possibility of evolution.

Evolution has been proven by evidence that was provided by Charles Darwin and his theory of evolution. From his theory, we have learned about evolution and many possible theories. One recurring theory is that humans evolved from apes. That theory has been proven by many facts, one, for example, is opposable thumbs. Both apes and humans have opposable thumbs and both humans and apes can walk on our feet. That is proof that our ancestors might have been apes. We can see evolution in fossils, animal similarities, and the adaptation to new or different habitats. Evolution has a nationwide effect and will continue until the end of time.
