People become more dependent on computers, phones, and cars. For instance, when the technology breaks, they feel as if they are disabled until it works again. This molds a person into becoming less self-reliant. When you’re dependent on technology (like calculators) it affects the way a student uses his/her brain. It also, reduces the level of creativity. Professor Ian Robertson, a neuropsychology expert based at Trinity College Dublin who carried out the study, said: “People have more to remember these days, and they are relying on technology for their memory but the less you use of your memory, the poorer it becomes.
