In the center of your brain there is a mass of tissue called the pineal gland, but there is more behind this mysterious gland. The pineal gland is known to product melatonin. This gland plays a role in our sleep and wake cycle. The pineal gland is also known as the third eye. The third eye is considered a gate that leads into inner realms and spaces of higher consciousness, but it also provides perception beyond ordinary sight. Some say, that whenever you activate your pineal gland or "third eye" you are able to see things that other people cannot see. Theses things can be auras or energy. They say, whenever the third eye is opened, you will feel a strong pulsation or pressure in the middle of your forehead above the eyebrow. Then, you would soon recognize that how you use to think doesn't work anymore. You also start to become more sensitive to light and sound. You begin to question the meaning of life. Sooner or later you will find out why you were brought into this world and what your purpose was for living. People that had experiences with the third eye said that you can easily get distracted from it, since random figures can appear out of thin air.
