This assignment has sharpened my ability to revise my work in order to produce a more concise work that is comprehensive and coherent. The major issue that I faced while writing the paper is addressing points that are solely supported by textual evidence. I don’t particularly like writing papers that are strict in their structure and types of resources allowed to cite from. However, I believe this is still an important skill that it is crucial for college students to master. As a writer, I learned to first put the raw, and dry ideas onto the paper before working on bending them and fitting them into any writing form. It is easier to examine the quality of your ideas when they lie naked in front of you on the screen, void of any literal embellishment. …show more content…
It enchants the hearts by just peeking at it. I has this powerful spell of joy that showers the readers mind as soon as they start reading. True writing is the one that an average reader can understand but fail to emulate. It is like the sun that extends its shiny threads to tackle the pore of your skin, filling them with warmth and calm. It seems so powerful and close. Nevertheless, it is hard to ever reach or catch. That is true writing, powerful and simple yet profound and concrete. I will strive in my future work to build an outline for my topic before filling it up with details. I believe that writing is a rewarding pursue when it’s boundless and open ended but rather a laborious job when it turned into an assigned, routine work to do. Writing is good to illuminate the minds of others and shower them with infinite knowledge and wisdom. Indeed, writing can be an end by itself where the ideas of a person coalesce on the page and morph into one entity that never existed before. Writing should be a means for storing the knowledge, and passing it to future generation. At the end of the day, writing is a form of communication that have proven to be the most efficient and trustworthy to communicate knowledge across generation.
