We saw how Tuckman’s five-stage model of group development can be a norm for most groups. This theory suggests that most teams typically go through five stages of development including forming, storming, norming, preforming and adjourning. To into more detail about each stage we start with forming. This is considered the ice breaker stage where teammates introduced themselves to get to know each other. The next stage is storming and this is where a team might form subgroups or even test how far they can test policies or a leaders procedures. From there a team will move to norming and this is when a team finds its boundaries and starts moving on its own. Once the team has figured out where each member stands and respects the responsibilities or capabilities of each member it will move into the preforming stage. This is when the team will start completing projects or solving problems. Finally the team will come to the adjourning stage and this will take place when the job, project or case is is done. How each member of the team preforms will effect the entire teams
